What's happening within the Bowling Section throughout the year?

All 2025 Fixtures now confirmed, 1st games are:
- Ramsbottom League - Tuesday 15th April - 7pm start
- Bury League - Monday 21st April - 7pm start
- Bury Vets - w/c Monday 14th April - 1:30 start

- Bury League - T&M Pope Pairs - Sat 17th May - 10:45 start - Open to all players registered in the Bury League, (other Buchanan Club members may be allowed to make up numbers on the day)
- Ladies Inter-Town - Sat 26 Apr - 12:30 start - Bolton v Burnley
- Buchanan Triathlon - Sat 5th July - 1000hrs Start.
- Bury League - Puttock Trophy Pairs - Sat 2nd Aug - 10:45 start - Open to all players registered in the Bury League, (other Buchanan Club members may be allowed to make up numbers on the day.
- Birtwisle private event - Sunday 17th Aug.
- St Joseph's School - Fri 12th Sep.
2025 Big Bowls Weekend
Buchanan SSC are registered to take part in this years Big Bowls Weekend. This is a campaign organised by Bowls England to try and encourage new players to the sport. Buchanan's open day event will be held on Sunday 25th May 1200hrs to 1500hrs.
The Green is OPEN
Thanks to a sterling effort lead by Martyn Chapman & Jack Mortimer, with many hands helping along the way, the green is fully open and looking great
